The specialist decorative work at the Trafford Centre, Manchester was initially carried out during construction in 1998 and has now extended to an ongoing programme of work including both interior and exterior works.
Specialist decoration to 'The Place' is a fine example of trompe l'oeil 'Chinese' red marble, and vast amounts of gold leaf was also applied to columns and features throughout the Centre.
Work undertaken to the exterior included a scope to create a marble effect and gild in golf leaf to numerous statues that would withstand all weather conditions. Work was undertaken from both floor level and height once the statues were in position.
